Hello fellow BECA Students! My blog features events around the bay I think are worth spreading the word about.
The Artist Community at Hunter's Point is hosting the semi-annual art show at Hunter's Point Shipyard. The group called "The Point" is made up of over 250 artist and is having an open studio to show their work. This event allows the public to step into San Francisco's unnoticed art community and see art while in the impoverished community. People may think Hunter's Point Shipyard is a ghetto, but this event may raise awareness and urge city officials and community members to help transform the neglected area into a fine arts community.
Check it out for yourself on October 26 & 27.
